Why do you want to work as a nanny?

I have 4 years experience working at a kids summer camp. In those four years I was a counselor, a lifeguard, Assistant Waterfront Director and in this last year I was Waterfront Director. I have also coached at a small basketball camp, volunteered at an outdoors school for a week and have experience baby sitting. I'm currently studying Nutrition at California State Polytechnic University in San Luis Obispo, so I have experience in making meals and healthy food choices. I am a certified lifeguard with three years of experience and I have also been certified in first aid and CPR for four years. Working with kids is what I enjoy and I'm passionate about making sure they have a good time as well. I enjoy sports and games immensely and can't wait to share the ones I know with the family I stay with.

My preivious summer camp job was one of the most rewarding experiences I have ever had and it made me realize how much I enjoy working with kids. It was work that required 13 to 16 hour days, 6 days a weeks, so I know I can handle whatever kind of commitment a family would ask of me. I enjoy pushing myself and I can work long days and long weeks.
