Why do you want to work as a nanny?

I have basically been around children my whole life. My mother has owned her own daycare for as long as I can remember. When I was 14 I started helping her a lot. When I turned 16 I started working for her. I took some classes through 4 C's with her and also received my CPR and First Aid certificates. When I graduated I went to college for early childhood development. I took a few classes and than work got in the way. I continued to take classes through 4 C's. I have worked for 2 daycare centers and for my mother's home daycare. I than got the opportunity to become a bus driver and have been driving for 6 years now. I love making children smile everyday. I work with children 3-17 while driving bus and enjoy all of them. In the daycare I work with children 0-6. I worked both jobs everyday so I am with children from 6 am until 6pm and enjoy it. My fiance was recently transferred here for work and now I am looking for a new job and children is all I know. I would love the opportunity to become a nanny.

Attitude and work ethic

I am a very outgoing person. I have a lot of patience not only for children but for all people and situations. I am a "just go with the flow person" I am very honest and would like that back in return. I have a lot of experience with all ages of children. I love teaching children new things from walking to their ABC's. In all three daycare buildings I made a curriculum and did things with the children everyday. We did math, science, music, art, and more. It was all preschool level so all the children could join in. Art is my favorite with the children and I like to do messy art just to warn you haha. I also set up the lunch and cleaned up. I would say I can multitask. I am open to anything.
