Why do you want to work as a nanny?
1. I worked as a caregiver in 2010 in Tampa and cared for an autistic wheelchair bound 15 year old male providing personal care and support
2. In 2009 I worked at a facility that was treating brain injury clients and I cared for up to 7 residents teaching them social skills to get back into the community. The job was in a residential facility.
3. In 2008 I worked with orphan and broken youth in an orphanage type home being a positive support and mentor to the youth from ages 11-16.
4. In 2006-2007 I worked at a juvenile youth detention center in which I made sure the residents were where they needed to be at appropriate times and held 1 on 1 meetings with youth from time to time. I was a coach counselor and had to intake juveniles. It was a last option to restrain.
5. For 2 years I was a youth coach in baseball and football in Colorado.
6. I helped out with youth ministry at church
7. I co-lead trip to Honduras with church
