Why do you want to work as a nanny?

My name is Ashley; I'm 25 years old and a mother of a wonderful 17 month old little boy. I have been a full time nanny for a family with 5 kids in Sussex (14, 9, 5, 4, and 2) for the last 2.5 years. Their dad was a teacher for MPS and lost his job last summer, he found a new position part time last school year and has just been informed he will not be returning part of full time for next year, leaving him and me without a job. I also nanny part time for 2.5 year old (she came to their house). I started watching her last summer when I was off from my other job, I only watch her during the school year now because her mom is a teacher. So I am looking for a family that is ok with me bringing both kids with me to their house. Along with watching the kids, I was responsible for household chores like cleaning the main living areas, kid's bathroom, kid's bedrooms, laundry, dishes, etc...I also planed lots of outings for the kids, we go to the library story time program, zoo, children's museum, and spend Lots of time at the park. I have a business degree from the University of Wisconsin Platteville; I graduated from college when jobs were hard to come by, so I decided that I would go back to something I loved, babysitting. I worked for a family for a short time after I graduated until they moved out of state, and then I started working for the Henderson family in Sussex. I love my job, and I love it even more now that I have a baby of my own and I can spend all day with him!! I started babysitting when I was in middle school and I have always loved kids....I do have a business degree only because I had changed my major once and by the time I realized I should be in elementary education, I only had a year of school left and didn't want to spend forever in college! My husband and I have been married for almost 3 years and have our 1 little boy, but definitely want to have more! I am willing to watch kids in my home or yours, which ever prefer.
