Why do you want to work as a nanny?

I am currently an Au pair in the Netherlands and will be going home next month. I have been caring for 3 boys (11,8, and 5) and the oldest one being autistic. I am easy going but know when to enforce the rules. I don't consider myself higher then them but instead as an older sister who is guiding them down the right path and choices. My other experience is being a cabin counselor at a diamond certified camp for 3 summers. I lived and taught with children and spent every two weeks with a set of children. I spent time mostly with children from age 10- 15. We played games together, had meals together, and took part in camp related activities.

Positivity and being resourceful I think are important traits for a nanny to have. Being positive allows the children to feed off your attitude and being resourceful allows you to think on your feet and think about how to solve solutions that my come up. I am productive in that I need to be doing things. At the end of the day, it's all about the children and it's my job to make them happy.
