Why do you want to work as a nanny?

I graduated from the Univeristy of Nevada Las Vegas in 2010. I have babysat for children as long as I can remember, including my younger siblings. While in college I worked at the UNLV/CSUN Preschool for two years until I graduated, while there I fell in love with working with children. It is an all inclsive preschool that accepts children ages 6 months to 5 years and I worked with every age. Since then I have nannied for a Las Vegas family which involves picking their two children up from school and helping them with homework, feeding them dinner, and getting them ready for bed. I also continue to babysit for several families in the area. I am very organized and dedicated to engaging children in activites that will help them learn and grow. I can't wait to have my own children someday and I look forward to inspiring and caring for others little ones in the meantime.

Attitude and work ethic

I believe in treating children with respect snd getting on their eye level to communicate. Redirecting is a powerful tool to use with younger children and I love being able to really talk and relate to elementary age children. The child needs to know that the adult is in charge and I am stern when I need to be but otherwise I am laid back and just want to have fun and learn along with the children.
