Why do you want to work as a nanny?

I am the eldest of four siblings. I have two younger brothers (17 and 11) and two younger sisters (11 and 5) so I do have experience caring for children. I grew up with a single mother, so I was occasionally required to cook meals, pick up the house, do laundry, and entertain my younger siblings. In elementary and middle school, I was chosen out of the entire school, along with five other students, to walk the pre-school children to their buses and back everyday after school. I love cleaning, baking, cooking, organizing, helping others, and caring for children. I also enjoy entertaining children, such as taking them to the park for a play date or to the pool for swimming. I especially enjoy creative activities, like arts and crafts. I maintained an A- GPA throughout high school and have maintained a B- GPA in college thus far.

I have a very good head on my shoulders for someone that is my age (19.) I am told that I am extremely responsible, mature, honest, trustworthy, punctual, caring, compassionate, and understanding. I do not have an ounce of temper or attitude. I do as I am told, when I am told to do it. I follow the rules that are laid out for me and do not take short cuts. I am goal oriented and enjoy accomplishing the goals that I have set for myself. I have a lot of common sense and can easily recognize right from wrong without constant guidance. I do not procrastinate and can easily sit down and complete a task in a reasonable amount of time.
