Why do you want to work as a nanny?

I have many previous experieces in working with children. For the past five years I have wroked as the music leader at my churches Vacation Bible School and have also helped with any other childrens programs when needed. I also work in the nursery when needed. On a needed basis I have babysat for various family members and family friends. I have dealt with children varying from ages 5 months to 11 years. I am very comfortable around all ages and just enjoy playing with the children the most. I love to go outside and play but I also like to find creative things to do inside.

Attitude and work ethic

I love to work. Ever since I turned sixteen I have been working in various atmospheres. I enjoy working with children alot. I have previous experience in working with children at my church. I have worked in the nursery many times and also was a music director or summer camps. This job required that I teach children ages 3-12 both song lyrics and hand motions to go along with the song. This sounds easy but getting a group of 10 kids in each age group to be patient and actually listen and learn is quite challeging. This is where my love for children comes in. I loved having to teach them something everyday and watch the end result at the end of the week. My other experience with children comes from the random babysitting jobs. I love watching children in a home because the are comfortable with the environment and easier to handle. They know what they can and can not do and that makes activities more fun.
