Why do you want to work as a nanny?

My love for children run deep. I have ran a family day care business for over 30 years(16 years in San Jose Cal. & 15 years in Henderson). My experience is with all ages from newborns to 12 years old. This month I had the first 7 children in my daycare here in Henderson graduate from high school and its exciting to still be part of their lives. For the last 2 1/2 years I have been a personal nanny for a wonderful family here in Henderson. When I started they had 2 children and now have 4 children. I'm going to miss them all very much. They are moving to Maryland. It really is a great move for them and I know that the children will love it there. Has a nanny i hope to become part of the family. I have always been very close with all of my families. I have 3 wonderful adult children and 7 grandchildren. What I love most about taking care of children is to see the world thru their eyes and to watch the light come on in stage of their growing.

Attitude and work ethic

I have over 500 hours in early childhood education. When you are a licensed day care provider you required to take 20 hours of classes each year to renew your license. My number one duty is to care for your children has if they are mine. I will love them,teach them, play with them and most of all respect your wishes and follow your rules for your children. I'm also more of a Nanny/Mothers helper. Which means I help pick up the daily chores,make meals,do some laundry and just pitch in where you may need it. I have many local and out of state refences. I also work at William Sonoma for the last 2 1/2 years. Am a very friendly out going person. Am looking for a family who wants the same nanny for a good length of time.
