Why do you want to work as a nanny?
My mom has been a Nanny, Chef, Maid, Nurse, and Accountant in her lifetime, loved it and was good at it. She was a cook at fort Belvior and was a Nanny for miss Bolivia, Mercedes Benz, Fashion Designer. She actually came to America on a job contract. I trained under her wing. I actually ended up loving it. though I have my own hobbies I love working with children and animals. people in general. I am currently just graduated from high school and am looking for a care taking opportunity. I attend the art institute of Washington 3 nights a week so I'd love to help out.
I love to read. Am all about positive encouragement and reinforcement. love making learning fun and interactive. I'm fun, caring, patient, understanding, kind, love music, fashion designing, I'm passionate about children and life. Just a little bit about myself. I have much babysitting experience. Ive been a mothers helper and an independent babysitter. I was just recently a Live-in nanny for a one year old. I worked 5 days a week full time before I started school. I even helped my mother when she was working in childcare for quite a bit. even when I was a kid, the little ones called me mom in SACC. They would always come crying to me or fight over me. I was only in the fourth grade. some how once, I went to a playground and got all the kids on the playground to play with me, by imagining that the playground was their ship and we were the pirates. and I was only 12. I dont know why but I have always just found a way with children and People.
Someone I once worked for told me that children and babies are a good judge of character, and maybe thats why I'm so good with them. One of the greatest compliments I have ever received. I have taken child development classes. I had a great teacher and loved everything about that class. She always loved the childrens books I made for her class.
