Why do you want to work as a nanny?

I'm primarily looking to babysit for kids, though I can nanny as long as it doesn't interfere with my school. I've worked with a variety of different children. My first babysitting job was for a two year old where a typical night was to give him a bath, feed him, and put him to sleep. My next job was for a lovely 5 year old, where I looked out after her while her mother rode. I have babysat for 2 children where their father was a pilot. I would sometimes go there at 5 am, and stay there the whole day. Other times I would go there the night before and take them to school. I have also done volunteering where I worked with special needs kids in a therapeutic riding program. I find that I am wonderful with children 3 and older. I naturally know how to entertain toddlers, and know that I can offer any child a safe and fun experience.

Attitude and work ethic

I love children. I know that many babysitters say this, but I truly do. I love their spice for life, and how honest they are. They are a breath of fresh air from the world of high school. I work very hard for children, because I know I'm the person who is responsible for their well being until their parents get home. I've seen my mom worry about leaving me, and I know that the most calming thing for her to hear is when my babysitter said that they will treat me the same way she did. I try my best to treat the kids I babysit for the same way I was raised. That is caring, interested, and worried about their needs. Time after time I've had parents come home saying how nice it is to feel safe leaving their kids with someone whom they trust.
