Why do you want to work as a nanny?

I have been in the child care field for over 12 years. I have a 6 year old daughter of my own whom I have raised as a single parent most of her life as well. I have experience working with children with disabilites as well as Autistic children. I worked as an aid for children with Autism in California, as well as an aid to my own nephew, but I hardly conisder that "work" being that he is an amazing little boy. I have since moved out of California and am looking to broaden my experience in Washington State. I currently nanny for a 2 year old little girl in the area, but looking to see if there is another family out there who needs me.

Attitude and work ethic

I love children, and I believe I was put on this earth to care for them. I enjoy teaching children new things, including basic learning skills before school is attended. I enjoy taking children exploring new places such as museums, beaches, childrens centers, even sporting events that are family friendly. I don't believe in T.V for babysitters, I only allow T.V to be watched if it is approved by parents, and even then only educational shows are preffered.
