Why do you want to work as a nanny?

My first jobs were as a babysitter and I loved it - I even took care of one child from the time she was 2 weeks old until she was 3 - one night a week, most weeks in the year! I literally watched her grow up in front of me and I'm glad that I was somehow a small part of it. I am now a grown mother on my own. My son is 8 months old and I am constantly amazed by what he does every day. I've been a teacher until recently - I lost my job due to downsizing. Unfortunately, this happened right after I had my son! I was focused on him rather than job searching and missed my window. I have had the opportunity to nanny for families in the area during the summer and have enjoyed that - taking them to their activities, watching their activities, taking care of them, etc. I love kids - I am patient, caring and nurturing. I would love to be able to take care of your little ones in any way that can help! I love doing crafty things in my spare time and can share that with children.
