Why do you want to work as a nanny?

Hey! My name is Zoey, I'm 19, and I'm a full-time first year student at College of Charleston in South Carolina (originally from the Bay Area CA). I'm looking for a full-time nannying job for this summer, starting in May and ending in mid-August. I've spent my past three summers working at a resident summer camp in Boulder Creek. There, I realized that I love working with children, especially in the outdoors. I am a fun-loving, calm and patient, passionate, and friendly camp counselor with training in discipline, homesickness, childcare, and certification in CPR/AED from American Heart Association. As a counselor, I've worked in cabins as a solo Senior Counselor as well as as an Assistant Leader. Generally, I have had between 6 and 10 girls in my cabin at a time. I also worked as a boy's counselor for a week. The ages I am used to working with are between 8 and 14, but I've worked with as young as 6 and as old as 16. I have worked with a child (male) with high functioning Asperger's syndrome and would be comfortable taking care of children with ADD/ADHD and high functioning Autism/Asperger's. I have a ten year old sister that was born when I was nine. I have taken care of her throughout her life by babysitting, playing with her around the house, driving her to and from school and activities, and helping her with her homework. I LOVE friendly dogs. I graduated Monte Vista high school with a 4.02 GPA and would be more than willing to help with homework (I took Spanish through the AP level). I love playing outside, reading, doing arts & crafts, watching movies, cooking/baking, and working with children.
