Why do you want to work as a nanny?

I am looking for a part time job with an easy-going family who needs extra help this summer. I have a lot of experience with children, and have a BS in Early Childhood Education and my Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy. I currently work as a manager in a clothing boutique, but I really miss working with children and would like to pick up some extra hours throughout the week. Although I am the store manager, I have a pretty flexible schedule and if it's a good fit with your family I would be willing to cut back my hours even more. I worked for Childhaven for a few years in between my undergrad and graduate programs. I was a Therapeutic Child Care Worker, and worked in a classroom of 4 and 5 year olds. I have also worked with children aged 0-4, and school aged children. I am a happy and energetic person, and I love to play outdoors. I go for walks (runs) around Greenlake and Lincoln park, and enjoy hiking.
