There are also exhibits which display some of the history of space travel, farm animals, and the railroad. You and the kids are all sure to see things in new and exciting ways, and learn about some of the things which interest you most.

If you are a Raleigh nanny who wants to give the kids a great time in a scientific atmosphere, you may want to visit the Morehead Planetarium and Science Center. There are so many activities for kids and adults alike, that you may not even be able to cover them all. There is a once-a-month session of Storytime Science, where you and the kids can hear a story read by an astronomer, you can experience seeing the characters from the Magic Tree House in the sky of the Planetarium, and you can experience some of the special shows, such as the Carolina Skies. You will learn about the planets and stars while viewing the night sky.
