Portland nannies have many different decisions to make during the course of any given day. One of the most important things for you as a nanny is making decisions about what activities you will do with the kids. You will have a lot to choose from in such a great area, and there will be options which will be entertaining, educational, and enjoyable, some of them all three of those things.

One thing that is special about the Portland area and offers a great chance for Portland nannies and their young charges to get out, enjoy artistic things, and get in on some good entertainment is the Portland Saturday Market. The Market is open every weekend from March through December and offers a lot to see, do, and even purchase. There will be crafts, including wares made by local artists, music, an international food court, and even a place where kids can make crafts. You and all the kids will have a blast when you make this one of your destinations.

Another great option for the Portland nanny is to bring the kids to the Oregon Zoo. When you visit the zoo, you will see animals from all over the world, have opportunity to explore the more than 60 acres of wildlife, and see how the animals live, eat, and sleep.
